KS Materials Pvt Ltd.
KS Materials Pvt Ltd. Connecting world-leading manufacturers with structured distribution pathways into India, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States.
Who We Are
KS Materials Pvt Ltd. is an advanced materials distribution and commercialisation company, incorporated in India and operating across India, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States.
We identify high-value industrial material categories at the frontier of electrification, sustainability, and intelligent infrastructure. Where global manufacturing capability is world-leading, but where organised, application-ready distribution into our target markets is absent or fragmented. We build structured supply relationships directly with manufacturers and deliver those materials to industrial customers with the technical, regulatory, and commercial support they need to adopt them.
We operate across two broad material segments: advanced functional materials (including thermal management, electromagnetic compatibility, and structural composites) and sustainable material solutions, where regulation is actively creating new procurement requirements. Within these segments, we focus on five specific product categories selected for their structural importance to the industries we serve and the absence of organised distribution in our markets.
We are at an early and deliberate stage, building the supply-side partnerships, regulatory infrastructure, and customer relationships that a serious distribution business requires before it moves volume.
Why Now
Across India, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States, demand is accelerating — and organised distribution has not kept pace.
01
The global EV battery thermal management systems market was estimated at USD 5.4 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 29 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of nearly 33%.
India's EV sales rose 49% year-on-year to 1.53 million units in 2023. The UK and Europe operate under a binding 2035 ICE phase-out. The US has committed to 50% zero-emission vehicle sales by 2030.
Each battery electric vehicle integrates significantly more electronics than its conventional equivalent: EMI shielding content averages USD 60 per vehicle and is growing at nearly 6% CAGR. The materials are needed. Organised distribution — particularly in India and the UK — is not yet in place.
02
Extended Producer Responsibility legislation is active, escalating, and generating immediate procurement decisions across all four markets. In India, the EPR regime runs through fiscal year 2027/28, with mandatory recycled content targets and full digital traceability on all plastic packaging from July 2025.
In the UK and Europe, the EU's Single-Use Plastics Directive has helped Europe capture 35% of the global bioplastic packaging market in 2025. In the United States, California's SB54 is making certified compostable alternatives a practical necessity.
The global bioplastic packaging market reached USD 19.55 billion in 2024. Regulation — not consumer preference — is now the primary growth driver.
03
The global air quality monitoring system market was estimated at USD 5.8 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 8.9 billion by 2030, growing at 7.5% CAGR. Growth is mandate-driven, not discretionary.
India's CAAQMS expansion is driving procurement at scale — the market alone is projected to grow from USD 180 million in 2025 to USD 304 million by 2034. In the UK and Europe, the EU's CSRD and tightened ambient air standards are mandating real-time monitoring obligations.
In the United States, post-pandemic ventilation mandates and healthy-building certifications are driving indoor air quality monitoring at a projected CAGR of over 9% through 2031.
Our Products
We focus on five specific product categories selected for their structural importance to the industries we serve, the technical maturity of available manufacturing, and the absence of organised distribution into our target markets.
Aerogel composites are the material of choice for EV battery thermal runaway protection and energy storage fire management, combining thermal conductivity values of λ ≤ 0.020 W/m·K with UL94 V-0 fire classification in a compressible, form-factor-flexible format. We are building distribution relationships with manufacturers producing battery-grade aerogel blankets and boards at verified scale, for supply into India's electric mobility supply chain, UK and European BESS project developers, and US energy storage integrators.
Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) masterbatches — specifically PHBV and PHBH copolymer grades — enable packaging converters to introduce certified biodegradable functionality into film extrusion, injection moulding, and blow moulding without major line modifications. We source from manufacturers with verified process maturity and international commercial references, targeting converters and brand owners facing EPR compliance deadlines across India (CPCB portal), the UK, Europe (EN 13432), and the US (ASTM D6400 / BPI certification). We manage the BIS, EN 13432, and ASTM D6400 certification documentation as part of our distribution offer.
Graphene thermal interface films, produced via Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) or high-purity graphite processing, offer in-plane thermal conductivity in the range of 700 to 1,500 W/m·K, significantly outperforming conventional thermal pads in high-heat-flux applications such as AI accelerator packages and silicon carbide inverter modules. We are establishing supply relationships with manufacturers whose films are qualified into demanding consumer electronics and automotive applications, building a distribution path into India's ESDM sector, UK electronics manufacturers, European automotive tier suppliers, and US data centre and semiconductor packaging customers.
We distribute factory-calibrated gas and particulate sensor modules covering CO, NO₂, SO₂, H₂S, O₃, CO₂ (NDIR), and PM2.5/PM10, into the air quality instrumentation, industrial safety, and smart building sectors across all four markets. Our manufacturing partners hold dominant global positions in semiconductor and electrochemical gas sensing, with supply references including major international safety instrument OEMs. We provide application documentation, calibration certificates, and regulatory comparison data aligned with CPCB CAAQMS specifications, UK Clean Air Strategy requirements, EU ambient air quality directives, and US EPA reference method standards.
Thin-film EMI shielding materials in the 10 to 100 micron range are a structural requirement in compact high-frequency electronics: AI accelerator packages, SiC inverter modules, flexible printed circuits, and defence-grade enclosures. We source EMI shielding films, ferrite sheets, and conductive laminates from manufacturers with MIL-STD-461 compatible products and existing automotive EMC qualifications, for supply into India's ESDM and defence electronics sectors, UK and European automotive and aerospace supply chains, and US semiconductor and defence applications.
Our Approach
We seek geographic exclusivity across India, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States, structured around volume commitments and clear renewal terms. We are building a business around our suppliers' products — not taking opportunistic positions.
Getting a material sold in a regulated market requires documentation, certification, and persistent engagement with procurement and compliance teams. We manage EPR, CE, BIS, EN, UL, and MIL-STD certification processes, building the regulatory dossiers that enable customers to adopt new materials with confidence across all four markets.
We provide application engineering guidance, integration documentation, and technical sales collateral built for each market and each end-use sector, reducing the adoption friction that would otherwise prevent a sale.
Our position at the customer interface across India, the UK, Europe, and the United States gives us real-time visibility into specification requirements, competing products, regulatory developments, and pricing dynamics in each geography. We return this to our manufacturing partners as structured intelligence, making the relationship genuinely bilateral.
What We Offer Manufacturers
We are seeking manufacturing partners in advanced functional materials and sustainable material solutions who are ready to build a structured distribution relationship across India, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States.
If you are a manufacturer seeking organised distribution in India, the United Kingdom, Europe, or the United States — or a procurement team evaluating advanced materials supply — we welcome the conversation.
